The first glimpse of a proposed new retirement village to be built at Kambah has been released by development company Hindmarsh.
About 60 people attended a community consultation session last month to view the plans and hear more about the development.
Hindmarsh national retirement manager Erik Boddeus said he was pleased with the interest in the project.
“We presented the proposed masterplan for the new retirement village and the enthusiasm shown for the project was encouraging,” he said.
“People were very interested in the designs of the villas and the apartments, the street elevations, as well as the future sales and marketing process.
“We are continuing to refine the design of the masterplan and we anticipate submitting a formal development application in July.
